Ian Watkins disgraced former lead singer of now disbanded rock band ‘Lostprophets’ has pleaded guilty to various child sex offences. Two of which include the attempted rape of an 11 month old baby.
The 36 year old frontman who was arrested last December pleaded guilty to the attempted rape of the child with two females, aged 21 and 24, who cannot be named for legal reasons. The two women have also admitted a number of charges.
Watkins denide the charge of actually raping the child, which was accepted by the prosecution but pleaded guilty to the attempted rape charge.
He also pleaded guilty to six charges of possessing indecent images of children and three counts of sexually assulting children.
The Judge, Mr Justice Royce has said that there will not be a case now.
