Cosplay Life – In The Mind Of That Mister J

You never really think about something until you think about giving it all up.

I’ve been in the world of cosplay since I was 18…. To put that into perspective I’m 24 this year, some would say to old to ‘dress up’ and honestly I was thinking they might have been right.

That is until one of my friends got hold of it after a post on my Facebook page “There comes a time in every villains life where he thinks about hanging up the over coat, washing off the paint and returning to the streets of normality.
Would you all miss this one if he did? Or would you do all you could to keep him around?”

This was almost like my way to say goodbye to everyone on the page without to much drama.

Little did I know about 10 minutes later I’d be tagged in a post telling people of my plan and them trying to get me to stay, some of the things said in the comments there alone were reason enough for me to keep with it. You may never really know just how much of an impact you make on people or how much they make on you until that moment, then everything seems clear and it makes you feel special.

In a way it’s a closer thing with people in the cosplay community because they see each other in a way that no one else can because they share the same passion, desire and love for what they do.

I think it’s safe to say I’m not going anywhere yet and I owe it all to those very special people.

Now off of the self indulgence for a moment and onto you guys, you yes YOU that little metal head sitting at your desk, looking on your iPhone or android (Whatever’s your poison.)
Here’s where you come in.
Is there anything you ever wanted to know about cosplay? Ever wanted to ask a cosplayer something? Have you wanted to cosplay yourself? If you answer yes to at least 1 of those questions then all I can say is do it! If you want someone to talk to about it or ask the ‘stupid’ questions, send a message to me on my page on facebook (Search: That Mister J) and I will happily help out the very best way I can.

Once again Mister J for The Black Flag saying a very good day you little psychopaths.
